Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2, 2026

This policy explains what information Macdonald Automation Partners ("we," "us") collects through macdonald-ops.com, how it's used, and the choices you have. This is a general-purpose policy for a small consulting website — if your engagement involves handling a client's own customer data, that's governed separately by the data processing terms in your service agreement, not this page.

Information we collect

  • Information you submit directly — name, company, email, website, and details about your workflow and systems, when you fill out the Automation Assessment form.
  • Basic technical information — standard web server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) collected automatically by our hosting provider.

We do not currently run analytics or advertising tracking on this site. If that changes, this policy will be updated first, and a cookie notice will be added if non-essential cookies are introduced.

How we use it

  • To respond to your inquiry and schedule an Automation Assessment.
  • To understand your workflow and systems well enough to scope potential work.
  • To maintain records of client communication for our own business purposes.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers that operate this site (currently our hosting and form-processing provider) and as required by law.

How long we keep it

Form submissions and related correspondence are retained for as long as reasonably useful for business and legal purposes, then deleted or archived securely.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete information you've submitted, or ask what we hold on file, by emailing hello@macdonald-ops.com.

This is a general starter policy and not a substitute for legal advice. Have it reviewed by an attorney before relying on it, particularly once real client data is involved.
